ABSTRACT
CPR 2024/3110 introduces significant changes to the European regulatory framework for construction products, including expanded environmental requirements, the digitalisation of documentation, and the new Assessment and Verification of Constancy of Performance [AVCP] 3+ system. The paper presents the directions for implementing the new requirements, with particular emphasis on precast concrete products and related construction products. The process of developing new harmonised standards, the anticipated period of regulatory dualism, and the importance of environmental data and life cycle assessment are discussed. The paper also identifies the key actions that manufacturers should undertake to prepare for future regulatory requirements.
